this film 100% tries to be something it’s not and jumps back from scenes in a weird way but GUESS WHAT ?! I loved it !! The jumping scenes didn’t confuse me like no offense but it wasn’t that bad lol and I really felt connected to Theo. Not necessarily his drug thing because clearly he had an inclination for all that before the bomb since he was smoking cigarettes? That part needed explained more but it was easy to move on from. But I think Theo’s pain could be felt so strongly through the screen and Ansel was good ! Finn Wolfhard not so much ! Obviously Deakin’s cinematography is part of the reason I liked this so much and I can understand all the criticism but for me it worked just fine ! He just misses his mom and likes to wear cute outfits :(
