Beautiful to look at, but dumb as a brick. The movie equivalent of Jessica Simpson in 2003.

It's as if someone tapped into my head and made a film based on everything I find awesome. Drenched in style and atmosphere, accompanied by insane performances and a fantastic score, peppered with influences from Dario Argento, Tobe Hooper, Clive Barker, Alejandro Jodorowsky and more, Mandy isn't just a film, it's a goddamn experience and manages to stand wholly on its own despite the obvious homage-laced nature of the film. A genuine love letter to genre cinema. Probably my favorite horror film since Cemetery Man. This is all-time top 10 material in my universe.
