Steven Sheehan’s review published on Letterboxd:
As it should, the opening scene sets the tone and it’s one that is almost offensively unfunny. There’s an annoying self-awareness about the ‘comedy’ that just forces it to fall flat the moment it leaves anyone’s mouth. Pretty much just Mel Brooks’ idea all over again, with comedy just as old. The human element is equally as vacant. And has Rebel Wilson ever made anyone laugh?
