Parasite is admittedly a film I admire more than I like, and to be clear I really like this film. It's one of the most unique and dynamic films to come out of the 2010's; closing out the decade in a big way. It's one part dark comedy, one part thriller, and one part socio-economic critique, and director, Bong Joon-ho, seamlessly blends them all together into one bold and unforgettable masterpiece. I think if I hadn't been raptured by "Portrait of a Lady on Fire," the night before, I would've loved this even more than I did, but I still love it nonetheless.
