I think this is a very important movie for people to see but I think I’m still left unsatisfied
Bo Burnham’s character was exactly the type of guy I’d go for. It’s terrifying to realize that its so real. It’s hard to find out which guys are seemingly good guys but douchebag bystanders and enablers underneath.
Also watching the best friend of a girl who was (tw/) raped then I’m assuming committed suicide get murdered by her best friends rapist is just heartbreaking. It hurts. That’s not anything anyone could want.
And also leaving everything up to the cops and the judicial system to solve?? In a movie that previously states how the judicial system failed??? A little ridiculous.
I think overall this is a great film, I enjoyed it, I think a lot of aspects of it are incredibly important for people to see. But it left me wanting.
Also aside from that, I totally thought going into this she was going to Murder every guy who tried to rape her, and I’m kinda sad that wasn’t it.
