True/False Film Festival Film #6:
I'm not super religious at this current point in my life, but I will always feel so at home whenever I hear Gospel music. I am so incredibly glad I got to see this because it is the closest I'll ever get to actually hearing Aretha live. Seeing this recording of her live gospel album, Amazing Grace, was electrifying.
She was every bit of the legend that she was, and the world truly is a little less bright without her. Also, Mick Jagger is there at one point and to be real with y'all, my first thought was "Hm, Harry Styles would totally do the same now."
