a truly haunting exploration over themes of personal trauma, male micro/macro aggression, and sexual politics. her past physically resurfacing and causing her torment in a place she thought was safe. this allegorical piece is full of many biblical, literary & mythological allusions that are both blatant and subversive. my eye-rolling experience in classical literature prepared me well for those moments.
