I'm not gonna lie, I wasn't too excited for this one. It's a standard MCU popcorn flick that doesn't really add much to the MCU nor makes it standout as a movie. Not necessarily a bad thing, there's a lot to like about this. It adds some much needed backstory to Black Widow, the action is pretty great overall and Florence Pugh steals the show. It often felt like it was Pugh's movie rather than Johanssons. Really enjoyed David Harbors…

This movie was definitely not what I expected. From the way the first 20 minutes of the movie were going I thought it was gonna a John Wick style revenge thriller. Instead we got a touching movie about grief, loss and purpose. Nicholas Cage gives the best performance I've seen from him. The scene in the restaurant is one of the best scenes of the year so far. Definitely recommend if you're not expecting Nic Cage to leave a trail of bodies.

Also watched in 35mm. This and two towers are the first LOTR movies I've seen in a theater since I was too young when they originally came out. It was such a great experience. People were cheering and laughing. The loudest cheers came when Theodens speech before leading the Rohirrim into battle. That moment gave me life. Probably one of my all time theater experiences ever. These are such epic movies and the 35mm really added to the already stunning cinematography. Highly recommend in this format, but honestly any chance to see LOTR on the big screen shouldn't be passed up.

Great action and sci-fi concept. At some points you would have even thought this was a slasher movie. I don't know why it has taken me this long to finally see this but I'm glad I did. It is a fun ride even if it feels slightly dated and some of the time travel logic makes my head spin.
