"I was Luke Skywalker. Jedi Master. A legend..."
Completely unexpected in the greatest and most bizarre ways possible. Star Wars: The Last Jedi feels more like the final chapter in this series rather than the middle. Rian Johnson draws the best out of his actors, specifically Mark Hamill, Adam Driver and Daisy Ridley, though occasionally drifts into goofy territory in the first and second acts.
The final hour is completely unpredictable, with some tremendous twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end.
It may lack the tightness of The Force Awakens, but The Last Jedi is the most uniquely different Star Wars entry since, dare I say, The Phantom Menace.
