Watched this on an old DVD I got as a gift like 20 years ago. Probably not the best idea for a film like this, with the grand cinematography and special effects. Although the quality sucked, it was kinda fun to pull out that old DVD I haven’t watched in years.

Titanic was always a 5-star film for me. I don’t watch it often as it can be emotionally draining and the runtime is an additional obstacle. For the first time I debated internally on whether or not this is a 5 or 4.5 star film for me. I know many folks have issues with the script, but that was never an issue for me….until now. The weak dialogue took me out of the film at times and I don’t remember that happening on past viewings.

But the ending sealed it for me, ”Jack, come back” - 5 stars.
