This wasn’t as entertaining as I thought it would be but god, I love Christina Applegate

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon crafted here a story worth telling to generations. That's it pretty much, the story. Direction helped driving into it, but I felt this movie is climbing and falling on his script only. Still, that was a brilliant script and this movie is the personal show of Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Robin Williams.

Equal parts trashy and profound. The clashing of different styles and tones presented here really shouldn’t work, but Refn pulls it off expertly.

Honestly, this is probably (from an "objective" standpoint) Christopher Nolan's best work.
It's been said thousands of times before, but every viewing elicits a new meaning, a new emotional resonance, a new prestige.
With such a cleanly woven pledge, turn, and final act there is no denying this is a masterclass in writing. I may not agree with everything Nolan decides to focus on in his films, but this piece of work truly shows he has an unspeakable talent for creating a story to display poetic and empathetic stories simultaneously.

If you haven't seen this, I could not recommend it more (even if you hate Nolan).

I watched this movie because people say this movie is one of the greatest movies of all time. To me this is a normal good movie but people overhype it. I hated this movie as the acting of Humphry Bogart was good but did not really touched me. The script was good but it was predictable. I fell asleep when I watched it the first time. When you see a great movie for an example The Godfather(1972) after watching it…

X2: X-Men United is an excellent follow up to the original film that’s packed with even more action, thrills and a solid storyline throughout, making it a very worthy sequel.

Well, so far, these X-Men movies have been 2/2 with me so far. In fact I enjoyed this film more than the first film. While the first film delves deep into the origin…

The POV shots are incredibly gorgeous and the structuring of the scenes and how the plot unfolds is perfect. Every performance is phenomenal. Perfect films. Glad I bought this on criterion. Going to listen to commentary soon.

I don't have much to say about this, except that this movie does an excellent job at putting things in the background. They weren't secret or hidden or anything, but the attention to detail really elevates this. Also, really great performance from Emma Stone.

The story of how I ran into watching this is weird. I was in a rush, went on Netflix to see what was on there and I found this and watched it, and I do not regret it. Van Gogh’s life has always been fascinating to me and for a lot of people and to see his life in this portrayal is beautiful. Some might say that this is sloppy film making, others say it’s a masterpiece, and I’m…
