100 (for the experience, and for the film.)

About a month or so ago, my theater announced that they were showing The Evil Dead Trilogy and you cannot understand the amount of excitement that I had when I read it. I'm a hardcore evil dead fan, and I always will be. Nothing beats Bruce Campbell, the chin himself, punching and chopping off his own limbs for 1h 24m straight. I bought an evil dead shirt with the art from the…

    100 (for the experience)

I went to go see Twilight, in 4k, on the big screen at Alamo Drafthouse. Greatest film experience ever. By no means is this movie perfect, it never will be, but this was an experience of a lifetime. My friend and sibling came with me to it. People were hollering, shouting, screaming, quoting and having so much fun. I wish I could've seen The Room with this type of audience, but I hopefully will one day.…

    Summer Watchlist - Film #3

Quick note: after some thought, I'm moving Whiplash up to a 94 because i guess I needed more time to think about it. Anyway, onto this film.

While I paused this and got up to get some water, I decided to look at the director of the film, and wouldn't you know it, it's the same director of the stoner masterpiece Dude, Where's My Car? This got me to laugh incredibly hard and I…

    Summer Watchlist - Film #2

Goes from a Noir to Die Hard With a Vengeance all within it's first two acts, Dirty Harry manages to pack a punch of a 70's action film.

Something works with it's half and half slow burn throughout it's runtime and great one liners that have their own level of awesomeness to them. Finally needed to watch another film on my summer watchlist because I'm super behind in it, and this I was in the mood for. I'm planning to watch Funny Games next which I'm absolutely dreading, but I might as well bite the bullet now.

    Morbillion/Morbillion

Morbius, Jared Leto's morbsterpiece, is the peak of all cinema. Whenever you're happy: watch Morbius. Whenever you're sad: watch Morbius. If you have not seen this morbsterpiece before, do yourself a favor. I had the pleasure of picking peak fiction up at the store last weekend and I can't believe I haven't rewatched it until now. I'm already going through morbdrawal (Morbius withdrawal) and my pulse is racing. Nothing will ever been better than this film. The acting, writing,…
