Definitely a family classic. One to watch with everyone while enjoying a nice snack.
Crazy how this is the movie to get the whole Kaiju genre boiling and is still going strong to this day.
It’s really fascinating to know how much of a pop culture icon Godzilla has become, but his origin shows how he is a product of nuclear testing.
I feel many haven’t seen this solely for the fact it looks like a B-movie and it’s low budget effects but it’s such an easy thing to overlook. The story and writing is also amazing and elaborately explains everything. I wish I had seen this sooner but I plan to watch more to see the other Kaiju!
