Kern’s review published on Letterboxd :
The lead performance is solid and it's mostly successful at sustaining a creepy atmosphere, but even at under 90 minutes it's so tedious. Not surprising that it was adapted from a short story because it feels like a short film that was expanded to feature length without any content to justify doubling the runtime. Had it ended 10 minutes sooner, I'd probably shrug it off, but the ending is just insulting. The thematic material is already painfully obvious, but at least hiding it under a veil of ambiguity adds some subtlety. The closing stretch bludgeons the audience with the Meaning so aggressively, it might as well have ended with the dictionary definition of "trauma."
