Caught between nostalgia and reboot, this hybrids biggest crime is not finding a new path to explore with its premise; worse than that is the critics obsession to bring down this new age dinosaur.

There are far bigger problems with mainstream cinema than this rebooted trilogy.  Dominion excited with some good set pieces but drags it’s heels and ultimately that’s what leaves it with little rewatch-ability.

    Morbius

As the credits roll, I found myself thinking “and that was about what exactly?” Sorry, but Morbius is just an utter waste of time - and can we finally stop casting Jared Leto, PLEASE.

Vampires suck blood, Morbius just SUCKS

Enter the mind of a deeply disturbed young woman, a trance like experience that no matter what violence and disturbing behaviour actions that took place on screen, never made me feel unnerved or uncomfortable, it was like seeing through the lead characters own eyes; beautifully shot and wonderfully written, a film that might well be divisive - for me I fell in love with it.

    Nostalgia

For the first 30/45 opening minutes I was utterly fascinated with the film then everything seemed to derail as the pacing got bogged down and the direction went away that made me disengage with the film. From then on it was a case of Nostalghia spiralling downwards into the realm of boredom and lacking the nostalgic connections that were so wonderfully constructed in the films first half. Did I grow to hate the film? No, but did I enjoy the experience overall? No. Nostalghia was a film that promised so much and failed to deliver from my own personal perspective.
