It’s all fantastic, folks.
I could never describe why Woodstock 99 stuck with me so much for over twenty years. I’m glad there’s finally a documentary that made me sick to my stomach over everything. No longer reading age-old articles that didn’t have much detail or low-quality snippets on YouTube, this is everything I needed to fully understand why this event has stuck with me.
This is the tipping point of nu-metal in America. We are still a year out from Limp Bizkit selling…
A Quiet Place is the worst film I've seen since Song to Song. I've seen objectively worse movies (I just ran through all of the Friday The 13th films for crying out loud) but this disappoints far more because of the expectations of it being a good movie. That isn't to say that the hype (I had no hype for it) was bigger than what I got.
This film has no plot. It exists solely to have quiet moments, supposedly…
I really can’t stand Alex Garland’s writing or direction.
He writes characters that have intelligent backgrounds but writes them so incredibly idiotically that they come across as stupid and insipid.
This felt like if Nicolas Winding Refn rewatched Stalker and Arrival on loop and thought his inability to write intelligent women characters would be benefitional for a Paramount block buster.
Don’t get me started on the laughable line delivery throughout.
I think I’m already done with 2018, let’s put all of our efforts into making 2019 a tad bit better.
