I don’t even like this franchise and I had a blast. I actually haven’t seen F9 yet 🤫 but I’m already looking forward to Fast Pearl and Fast MaXXXine

A Swedish couple decide to unplug and spend a year off grid in the Swedish. Hoping to escape the stresses of everyday day life, and repair some cracks in their relationship they plan to document their yearlong experiment on a podcast.  They pledge to be 100% open so that they can rediscover themselves….finding themselves is exactly what happens. The action set pieces were exciting and exceptionally well-realized, especially the corridor fight sequence.  The film is not without issues, though.  Several flashback sequences shed light on Rocket’s origins. Some flow smoothly…

This is a film that lands squarely in the Not For Everyone genre. It’s an absurdist satire of our collective existential dread. A 2 hr plus genre hopping escapade that at it’s most basic follows a family amidst an evacuation of their town as it is being threatened by a toxic airborne event. Beyond that, this is a very difficult film to summarize, but a much more interesting film to talk about. I can see each viewer potentially coming out of…
