I’m trying to find a way to explain what I just saw but I am literally at a loss for words. Persona is a beautiful story told in an interestingly unique way. A depiction of two people losing themselves and confusing reality with fantasy.
The film itself is astonishing. From beginning to end I was hooked to the screen and couldn’t look away. It was one of the most interesting viewing experiences I’ve ever had. This is my first film by Ingmar Bergman and I’m so fascinated by it I might dive into his other works.
I really wish I could write a long, detailed review but I really don’t know what to say about it. I think the film does all the explaining there needs to be.
