i need to COME OUT, once and for all. 

i can not stand w*s anders*n movies. i honestly fucking feel like i’m punishing myself each time i try to watch one. the only film i’ve been able to sit through was Isle of Dogs. 

the rest i tried multiple times to make it through, this one i got at least 60% through so i’m checking it off. 

beautifully framed, sure. but the plots are so absent and the “comedy” just does not resonate with me.

ok i feel much better now.

i haven’t felt so tense during a movie in a long time. especially considering the subject matter, sports and gambling. two things i couldn’t care less about. this movie managed to keep me engaged and on the verge of a coronary for 2 hours.
