Sam Raimi’s cult classic stays true to the genre. It’s gory, creepy and ultimately original. Because of the limited budget, the movie does feel like a b-grade horror flick. The props , practical make up and effects are all well done, for the time.  It must have been tedious.
It has everything you’d want from a horror film. I will say I wasn’t expecting the blood , guts and gore.

Well, this was a mess. There was nothing new that this film offered. The plot and characters are extremely predictable. The narrative is tiring and banal. I just couldn’t wait for it to Finish.

I have a soft corner for love stories. But when the two main characters are implausible, it just doesn’t work. This film is full of issues. I am going to list some of them, one by one.
A doctor cannot be practicing, while being an alcoholic or a drug addict. Doesn’t matter how brilliant he is.
A goon and bully in college who does whatever he wants, and nobody bats an eye?
Kabir Singh marks her as his girl and…
