Jason has written 50 reviews for films during 2021.

  • Moxie

Had good empowering moments but also had some odd ones

  • WandaVision

I wish I could see Kevin Feige’s face as he watches everyone come up with theory’s about how Evan Peter’s quicksilver is the start of the multiverse all while he did this just for a boner joke

  • Tom & Jerry

    Tom & Jerry

I did learn something from this movie. Jerry is a dick. Tom has done nothing wrong. I don’t know why I rooted for Jerry as a kid.

  • Shame

You have been warned this is a movie about sex addiction. I did not know this going in. A came in only knowing the famous scene. This has a lot of action in it if you get what I mean.

About half way through I was learning more towards this was alright but it really picked up and I love the title Shame. It means so much in this film. Michael Fassbender is an amazing actor.

  • X2

Didn’t find this as captivating as the first one but I still did enjoy moments like wolverine’s history and the nods to the Phoenix force

  • I, Tonya

    I, Tonya

This was Margot Robbie’s best performance. I do not know much about the real story but this documentary type film made a very interesting watch

  • X-Men

This came out 21 years ago and yet it’s still such an entertaining comic book movie. The action doesn’t carry this but the characters and world building.

    Favorite line: “How do I know it’s you?” ... “You’re a dick”

    That joke will always hit

  • What Happened to Monday

    What Happened to Monday

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

“Jason movie” my ass lmao. It definitely was unique in its kills but the idea has some flaws in the sense of if they had 7 kids how did they get all their food and if that final revival of Monday being pregnant should have been revealed in the bathroom fight scene instead of at the end for the dramatic effect

  • The Prestige

    The Prestige

The best part about this isn’t the reveal or the story but the characters which isn’t normally the case in Nolan films but all these characters are so interesting. I have to rewatch this

  • Lost in Translation

    Lost in Translation

Lost in translation is exactly what the title is. It is a slow paced heart felt story that feels like it is going to sit well over time. 3.5 stars for now

  • Judas and the Black Messiah

    Judas and the Black Messiah

A had high expectations and it still delivered.

I recommend going in blank and then research afterwards.

  • Nomadland

This movie definitely made me feel things. It’s slow and boring at times but it’s supposed to be slow. It shows the good in people in a society most do not know. I thought it was good but I’m surprised with how much love it’s getting
