  • To All the Boys: Always and Forever

To All the Boys: Always and Forever

I mean it follows all the typical tropes of a romance and I knew everything that was happening before it happened. What happened to the love triangle they were setting up in the second movie?

  • Southpaw

It was okay not all the emotional scenes worked for me. A few felt forced but giving a great actor a role of a father trying to be there for his daughter always works for me.

  • Enemy

I will remember the last 5 minutes vividly. These types of movies where you have no idea what is going on until the end usually work for me but this one was a little boring. I did have fun figuring out what the movie means after watching it.

  • The Polar Express

    The Polar Express

Animated movies can have the coolest cinematography

  • The Lego Star Wars Holiday Special

The Lego Star Wars Holiday Special

This was so much better than Rise of Skywalker

  • Run

This shows how someone who is seemly helpless is able to step up to what she needs to be. This part I liked a lot but there are some odd things about how smart the mom is with keeping her daughter upstairs but she leaves a certain box in seeing range downstairs. Also that ending didn’t work on me like it did my girlfriend.

  • Titanic

It was okay. Probably my favorite part was how the rich people complained about the music and the poor people celebrated the musicians for playing for them. Titanic had a lot of rich vs poor deeper meanings like that.

  • You Should Have Left

    You Should Have Left

It tried to have its deep stuck in sins moments but it ended up not being that scary. At least they discussed the age difference

  • The Stunt Double

    The Stunt Double

For my first short film I thought it was interesting. It played about how stunt doubles are mistreated and don’t get respect but let’s be honest the real interest about this was that it was shot vertically on an iPhone.

Since I can’t really base it off anything I’ll just give it 2.5 stars

  • Sonic the Hedgehog

    Sonic the Hedgehog

Does Tom calling the raccoons trash pandas mean Sonic is in the mcu? I think it does. Anyway it was a fun movie that had its good moments and it’s dumb moments. Best and only video game adaptation movie I’ve seen.

  • The Night Clerk

    The Night Clerk

I had fun watching this movie. It was predictable and it tried to be more deep then it was but I kinda liked it.

But what the heck was that gun shot for at the end?

  • Taxi Driver

    Taxi Driver

The ambiguous ending is perfect and the set up to him being more confident is made well. I just found it kinda slow. It definitely picks up at the end but I struggled to stay focused on the side characters. It felt like a clear turn from Betsy to Iris. I see how people love it.
