    The first x-men film that shows an altered history. This makes the younger x-men fit right in. The cast is incredible the best is definitely Michael Fastbender as Magneto.

    Part 1:
    The bank robbing scene choreography was improved so much. They definitely made Steppen Wolf more badass and the first mother box a more fought for battle.

    Part 2:
    They gave Steppen Wolf some kind of back story which is way better than Justice League’s version. Gal Godot’s exposition felt like she was reading. If this is all we get of Darkside they kinda did him dirty.

    This came out 21 years ago and yet it’s still such an entertaining comic book movie. The action doesn’t carry this but the characters and world building. 

    Favorite line: “How do I know it’s you?” ... “You’re a dick”

    Watching this made me scared to put my arm around my girlfriend of nearly 3 years.

    The best part was how they gave Cassie hope with this perfect man but when he is given a tape that could give justice to Cassie’s friend but could incriminate him by association he pushes her to not use it to save his ass. It’s cool how there are many times that these characters have a chance to tell the truth and get away with little damage but instead they push to completely save them and in the end they all get caught.

    Paul Thomas Anderson has an interesting type of film making. He gives his actors plenty of chances to have stand out moments. I respect how great this film is but it did not hit me as it could have. Joaquin Phoenix and Philip Seymour Hoffman deserve the praise they have gotten for their performances.
