k.’s review published on Letterboxd:
i feel like a spectator in my own life.
hints of longingness in depths of reluctance, penchant for self-destruction behind attempts for retrieval, gratifying the echoes of desire while in the constraints of commitment. every effort seems to backfire, yet trier makes it easy to empathize with one who does a really good job at being the worst. julie is human. you may think she is the world’s worst person. but it takes one to know one.
