Nope ★★★★

Top notch thrilling stuff, gets a bit murky with the humor and the characterization of an individual that starts to resemble something you’d read on r/creepypasta but it more than leaves a mark with gorgeous landscapes during dusty days and bluest nights, Hoytema proves again to be such a singular cinematographer. Kaluuya gives his best “modern cowboy”, quiet and subdued but stoic and driven and Palmer alongside Yeun bring enough depth of their own. Peele manages to nail a third act that’s satisfying thematically and as a summer blockbuster; a little bit of Jaws, Tremors and Twister blended together to make the most exciting film this summer alongside Top Gun Maverick 👍👍
