Letterboxd — Your life in film

Travis’s whole monologue towards the end and the shot of his face reflecting on her silhouette was so magnificently done… also Hunter was my favorite character.

Enjoyed the extended cult backstory and the gore but the amount of hallucinations (?) she was having were overkill, still a lot better than the og.

It was much more entertaining than Top Gun that’s for sure 🤭

Nothing scarier than white haired children who are religious freaks. Two stand out scenes that really fucking ate for me were the “chinese plate” dance and them with orange sunglasses in the fucking desert, I truly lived.

They did my girl Anne so dirty 😭

Kinda sad that Stiles is a full on homophobe and a closeted furry in this version.

Seen a few “biopics” recently and this one felt pretty mid, idk it just lacked something… 

Viola Davis was outstanding and the best thing about this film, the music was a tad forced and the amount of feet exposition Ben did was so unserious.

Still managed to enjoy the film it just wasn’t GREAT, the most exciting thing was reading people’s “where are they now?” summary at the end and finding out MJ makes 400 million a year without even having to leave his house.

Is it considered necrophilia if I was fully living for Paul Walker in a crop top?… nvm I didn’t ask that.

This movie was “so bad it’s good” and I had a blast with it. It has some really cool gory kills that I was definitely not expecting, the T-Rex’s little arms were extremely camp, and it all ends with a brain nutting, seriously what’s not to like? 🤭.
