Great pace, the usual cadre of talented actors, and a clean (if a tad simple) case.

WOW this is supposed to be the BEST that the series has to offer? Oh, God, I'm not sure I can handle the sequels.
Really cool robot spider monsters are marred by terrible CGI. An okay story concept is limited by annoying tween actors.
My wonderful fiancée was bored by the 20 twenty minute mark, and made it clear she wouldn't be finishing the series. I wish I had her restraint.
I'm not here to hate on Mayhem from the All-State commercials, nor the bevy of beautiful brunettes, but this is just messy as hell. Is it even possible to care about this plot?
I should note that cinematography is incredible. Some shots are absolutely jaw-dropping, and don't belong in a movie this sloppy.
