Skyfall ★★★½

The most fascinating part of Daniel Craig Bond films is the dynamic between two central & opposing forces:

Being a gritty, more realistic spy-action movie WHILE... still being a Bond film. So they exist as a hybrid of Sicario and the Fast and Furious franchise.

There is an absurdity inherent to Bond, and the facade of realism does make it feel sillier. It can ruin it for you, or you can choose to love it.

I'm afraid I'm stuck halfway in between.
