Rob Hill’s review published on Letterboxd:
The human touches in the new Spider-Man movies are incredible. The humor works, the characters are likable and charming.
The only thing holding these back is, well, the action. Some of the big CGI battles look almost cartoonish, and not in the Spiderverse awesome kind of way. Marvel generally pulls these things off beautifully, so it's surprising to see it miss on these so consistently.
At the end of the day, I'd rather have it this way than the opposite.
