I WILL NOT BE THE LAST JEDI
This movie is miraculous. Rian Johnson reinvents the biggest film franchise of all time. He changes it. Makes it entirely new. Unexpected, unpredictable, beautiful. The Last Jedi is straight up gorgeous filmmaking. It’s a film that shows our heroes with their backs against the wall, desperate for hope. This is a riveting motion picture, the kind that thrives in the race against time, that excels within the confines of a running time. Johnson’s film burns through its 152 minutes like it’s nothing, making it look positively easy. This is an adventure, a film that takes us, and the characters, to new heights ands depths. New places, new faces, new stories, new challenges. It ends in such a way that leaves you wanting more but entirely unsure of what to expect. Rey, Finn, Poe, Rose, Luke, Leia, Holdo, Kylo Ren - this is their story.
Our story.
