This one does a re-cap opener the way number 2 did. This time, it’s not a camp and they’re not counselors. Instead, it’s a group of late teens/early 20-somethings who are spending a weekend at the farm/summer house belonging to one of the girl’s family. 

It looks like a camp, though. Cheap construction, shabby, almost institutional, it’s not exactly a welcoming place. 

We get to see Jason wearing his mask and he’s very busy racking up kills. Music is again used to good effect to add to the suspense, but we pretty much know what to expect, and the only question is how Jason is going to kill them. The arrow through an eyeball was pretty good.

The addition of the bikers was a nice touch.
