First, even though he confirmed it, you can still tell that he gained a lot of inspiration from The Wicker Man. Which I understand and am cool with. Now, Aster said he wanted this to be confusing, but I fully believe that there is more to this and I want to watch it again so I can understand it more. I did notice some of the foreshadowing. The main one that clicked was the bear. I’m not going into details on that but I’m definitely wanting to watch this again.
