in a pursuit for the essence of evil, his sense of self absconds, rendezvous with the devil himself, who immediately responds; you’re stuck between madness and a nightmare, adopting the psyche of the killer like it’s hardware, you’ve thrown the gauntlet, but just how far will you go to seek the figure with the bright hair.
nietszche once said if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes back at you. so how do you find serenity if deep down, that evil is a part of you.
not a film for the masses, but it’s masterful regardless.
