Kevin’s review published on Letterboxd:
A really troubling, messed up film. Out of all Lynch's works, I might recommend this one the least.
One senses that Lynch, at the height of his mainstream popularity in 1990, felt the need to disturb audiences in then-unseen ways. He did achieve this; whether Wild at Heart is daring or manipulative, you'll have to see for yourself.
A bonus half-star awarded for Sherilyn Fenn's scene, which is potentially the most heartbreaking and direct in all of Lynch's oeuvre. There's also another amazing Twin Peaks cameo that I won't spoil.
