Dance, Dakota, dance! Let your haters be sacrificed to Mother Suspirium in an occultist interpretive dance ritual!
(This is a dense, beautiful, deeply unsettling piece of work, but I am unable to commit to any statement more concrete than that so soon after stepping out of the theater. I can say, however, that there is one image in this film that resonated with me so strongly--horrifying and cathartic in equal measure--that my dumb millennial brain is already screaming "tattoo me!")
