I have released another short film! This is probably the one I'm most proud of. An abstract expressionist portrayal of the Universe made entirely from edited shots of TV static.

    please check it out!!

    A Day in the Country

Hi everyone! I've just released my new short film! Sort of in the vein of Peter B. Hutton and similar filmmakers so if you're into those types of films definitely check it out! would also recommend watching with headphones on and at the highest quality possible of course.

borderline great, but I don't think it quite gets there almost entirely because of the overuse of the close-up/shaky cam/quick cut style. it sometimes works at capturing the utter chaos going on and that style is not inherently bad (it all comes down to execution and using it appropriately), but there's too many times here where it just makes things inscrutable and it becomes a little frustrating to watch especially when it otherwise looks terrific. really love how it captures…

    "make your own future"

a sprawling pop epic. feels like the pinnacle of Snyder's form. a hopeful portrayal of heroism and togetherness. of finding oneself whilst also acting on behalf of everyone else; power in the collective and the individual. but it's also just a lot of wonderful action that looks and sounds glorious too. just one hell of a picture

I will say though, Gal Gadot is still awful and the Flash's constant quipping does border on annoying at times. other than that though, this rules

"A thousand generations live in you now."

May be the perfect finale not only for these characters, but for the saga as a whole. History and present colliding together. Brings everything and everyone together for one last journey into the Stars, one last fight for good and hope. I love the way it deals with identity, lineage and the past; that where you're from, what you have done before or succumbed to, it doesn't matter. What matters is where…
