I love the WTF reaction humor about this movie.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Parts of the movie especially in the beginning play like an episode of Euphoria. Ciara Bravo at times reminded me of roles that I’ve seen Zendaya in.

Experienced a range of emotions while watching this. Beautiful shots. Attention to detail was great. I was on the edge of my seat pretty much the whole time. Rewatch quality is high. One thing is I really thought the ending was going to be more devastating. Wow. Pretty good stuff- Can you imagine if Aronofsky directed this?

Overall a pretty good film, that makes me proud to be a part of this community. It is not without a few flaws tho. See liked reviews for more info.

  • Rocky

Yo Adrian, check out the upcoming Movie Drunks podcast.

Rocky is one of the greatest stories ever. The underdog who no one believes in, works his butt off with little to no help, but earns ever bit towards the end. It is far from a Cinderella story though. This movie easily could’ve been guy wins at the end, but that’s not what the message is. The message is: even if all odds are against you, if you work hard to accomplish what you are passionate about that you’ll be rewarded. Therefore, for that reason, Rocky is a personal favorite of mine.

Doc is truly an icon when it comes to sportscasting. I aspire to be half as entertaining as he is.

Could’ve been better, but it was decent. I laughed at the woman singing Melissa Etheridge. Lmaoo. Needed one more scene with Clea DuVall imo.

The gang returns, hijinks ensue. ...A joy to watch with my parents- God they’re so fun. Couple notes on this one:

    • I wish it had a little more Natasha Lyonne but her presence was def felt.
    • Also, for those of you who don’t know Directors, Hayden Schlossberg and Jon Hurwitz, are also 2/3 of the group that created Cobra Kai, fun fact.
    • The writing was pretty great as always. (What they’re also known for on CK 😉)

Big Stiffy still the douche we love to hate and hate to love. Lastly, Eugene Levy is fantastic.

    But I'm a Cheerleader

Just getting ready for the director’s cut coming out on blu-Ray soon. Digital already out but I didn’t watch that. Instead, I watched the version on IMDb TV free with ads. This has to be my first (full- at least) movie viewed on my phone.

    Thoughts on the movie?
Clea DuVall is a gem. And so is Natasha Lyonne. And this movie.

Also, this is my first watch where I actually recognize that that’s Julie Delpy in the bar scenes.
