Jabba Jabba’s review published on Letterboxd:
Plays like the 007 films from the very beginning of the series, with low-tech tools and weapons, spectacular chase sequences, and an overall sense of rebirth. The best Bond opening scene in ages, with a breathless and very memorable chase that eventually ends on the roof of a train. To top it up, we're given the best Bond title sequence to date with a new "classic" title song by Adele.
This is a giant reset button for the whole series, and it works extremely well. Up high on the list of great 007 movies - up there with "From Russia With Love", "Dr. No", "Goldfinger" and "On Her Majesty's Secret Service".
The shot where Bond jumps into a train and promptly corrects his cuffs is pure 007 magic. That one shot is the crown of this film as it perfectly embodies who James Bond is.
