Sleazy, nonsense thrillers are back baby and we don't ask that they be good, just off the walls with twists. The set up is definitely more interesting than the climax because the writing doesn't lend to much doubt or suspense once the reveal happens.
But INTO THE DEEP delivers a serviceable albiet underwhelming thrill, a great location (the middle of the ocean) made easy to watch with the wounded baby bird performance of Ella Rae Smith.
