This was devastating. Anthony Hopkins is 83 and still acting circles around everyone. There are moments where you can see in his eyes just how lost, confused, and scared he is. Olivia Colman continues to show why she’s one of the best actors we have.
The screenplay is fantastic, and always kept me engaged. The editing helps keep the audience just as confused as Hopkins is throughout the film, and it’s easily some of the best of the year. Dementia…

    Sound of Metal

Sound of Metal has some of the best sound design I’ve ever heard. My mom has been slowly going deaf, and when we started hearing from Ruben’s POV my mom said that’s exactly what she hears, and it helped me understand it.

Marvel’s best movie and they still haven’t made anything better. At the end of every scene I kept audibly saying “fuck that’s an incredible scene”. So many shots are framed so perfectly. The acting is top notch. The CGI still looks great! One of my favourite movies of all time,

I don’t know why the movie and IMDb say her name is Gracie Gillam, and Letterboxd says it’s Grace Phipps but either way she is fantastic in the lead role. I had a fun time and I would recommend it to any horror fans.

Interesting documentary with some cringe scripted moments. Also I didn’t hear them mention Letterboxd so imma keep using it

  • Tenet

I May not have understood everything immediately but when I got home my brother and I started analyzing and trying to figure out exactly what happened. I love when a movie does that. I’m excited to rewatch it. Yes this is a flawed movie but the way it made me feel was something that I loved. I thought Interstellar was extremely flawed the first time I saw it and now it’s one of my Favourites so I will be seeing Tenet again this weekend.
