Kaleb’s review published on Letterboxd:
This movie is like looking at a painting that makes you feel nothing. You appreciate the beauty, but it feels hollow. Something is missing. In the case of Ammonite it’s emotion. There aren’t enough meaningful scenes between our leads, so when we finally get to a meaningful scene, it’s too little too late and I just don’t really care. Gods Own Country is a great movie, and sadly Ammonite doesn’t live up to it.
