Wes Craven is a horror genius. A slasher movie who’s characters are aware of slasher tropes. This movie is just a blast from start to finish. All the characters are great to follow along with. Never Campbell does a really good job, and I love the way her character was written. I also love Matthew Lillard in this, you can tell he’s just having a blast. I’m honestly not the biggest fan of Ghostface, he’s not intimidating. He falls over a lot and gets outsmarted by almost everyone. I still find myself rewatching Scream because it’s just so much fun.
