“Well, that’s not very nice. It’s just a donkey.” - Shrek (2001)
Just like a donkey, this movie is really good. It’s fun, it’s musical. I don’t think it’s as good as The Usual Suspects, but it’s definitely a solid follow-up. This movie is stunning, the cinematography, the camera movements, everything about it is nice to look at (except for Rami Malek🤮). The acting is also phenomenal, especially from Rami Malek. Can’t wait to see him in Dolittle as Chee-Chee!
I don’t think I will be able to stop thinking about this movie for a long time. The terrifying imagery of Rami Malek will haunt me for a while. This movie takes risks; and it works. I am so excited to watch more movies by this director and be excited and horrified.
