Midsommar ★★★½

This film is the twin sister to hereditary where as one film relies on a claustrophobic atomosphere and an overwhelming sense of dread, this film explores themes of grief and sorrow yet oddity enough liberation for our main heroine. The film is brutal in its graphic violence, it contains some of the most accurate depictions of psychedelic drug use it manages to have some of the greatest cinematography since new Hollywood. Ari Aster you’ve done it again.
