Hungkat’s review published on Letterboxd:
Personally I wish Ari Aster had chosen this version to be his official theatrical cut. Even with the extra 25 minutes being included, the move still paces really well as the characters are more cogently fleshed out given a few extra details and moments that further add some contextual layers to the protagonists, Dani and Christian, troubled relationship. Furthermore, the Director’s Cut adamantly puts a full stop at the end of the discussion to those who argue of whether Christian deserves to be that lit or not. Duh, the man is a dick.
