  Very late to this, but we move regardless.

  Despite the title, Ken is the main character of this film, with Barbie being a side character. The most interesting and enjoyable parts of the film are those centred around Ken's journey, and so this review will do the same.

  At the beginning of the film, we see that Ken's only purpose in Barbieland is to fight the other Kens for Barbie's attention. Ken (and the other Kens) don't have any houses;…

  The Great Silence 1968

  First review. It's about time. We move.

  This is a very well done film across the board. The plot moves along at a great pace. It even manages to provide an origin story. Some of the shots in this are breathtaking, paired with a soundtrack that elevates each scene to a higher level.

  The performances from Jean-Louis Trintignant and Klaus Kinski are great. The former achieves this without even saying a word. He clearly knows his stuff.
