The bro movie event of the 1800s. First Cow takes its time and slowly milks out a sweet friendship with themes on the American dream, classism, and human nature. At its most primitive, the film is able to deconstruct the most meaningful elements and simple desires of human life, from survival, belonging, and dreaming. The tale is sweet, simple, and economical, just like the biscuits that the chef makes. And yes the cow will also win best supporting actor for.. naturalistic Kelly Reichardt reasons.
