Eating from a can of cold SpaghettiOs is a fucking mood.

It had it's moments, sure. I laughed a few times and the Evil Dead 2 vibes are strong, but as good as the MC is, he was far too insufferable for me to enjoy this fully, and a lot of the effects were downright silly.

I can't see how this has a higher rating than Dashcam, either. That's a travesty.

Bottom line: ya boi did not get scared. Things is, I WANT to be scared. Some groovy practical effects and a creepy premise, but nothing that will haunt my dreams. I want to be mentally eviscerated when I go to a horror film, or I want to have fun. Neither happened here, unfortunately, and I’m fucking sad as fuck.

A story worth telling and a powerful message do not a great movie make. Let’s just say: Good intentions, but not for me.
