Yeah this was really, really good. I’m not historically a big fan of war films, but this was stellar. The filmmaking was really outstanding — cinematography, score, sound design, framing, visual effects were all great. The only thing I didn’t always love was the cuts out of the war, but those did help hammer home the point, and it probably helped make the war more impactful, so I’ll accept it. Very happy I waited to watch this in theaters.
