Yeah, this honestly kind of bothered me. It was just pretentious and boring just to be pretentious and boring. I think the director thought that having really good cinematography and an extremely limited script would mean that everything the characters said would have significance with the audience. However, I was just waiting for the next line that thought it was important when really it felt the opposite. This was complete style over substance. Great cinematography, not a great movie.
